THQ Nordic y Alkimia Interactive han lanzado un nuevo trailer para el remake Gothic 1 , coincidiendo con el lanzamiento de la demostración de "Nyras Prologue".

A diferencia del original Gothic , que presentaba al héroe sin nombre, el remake permite a los jugadores experimentar la historia a través de los ojos de un prisionero llamado Nyras. A pesar del cambio protagonista, el objetivo de Nyras sigue siendo el mismo: la supervivencia en el implacable mundo del juego.

Lanzado durante el STEAM Next Fest, la demostración ya ha roto récords de jugadores concurrentes para toda la franquicia gótica :

La demostración muestra las imágenes mejoradas, las animaciones y el sistema de combate de 5 potencias de motor irreal. Si bien el prólogo no representa completamente el juego expansivo y la profundidad de los juegos de rol del juego completo, ofrece una visión convincente de lo que está por venir.

El remake gótico está programado para su lanzamiento en PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S y PC (Steam, GOG). Aún no se ha anunciado una fecha de lanzamiento específica.
