Les six invitations d'Ubisoft ont conclu avec le dévoilement du dernier ajout de Rainbow Six Siege: Rauora, un opérateur d'attaque originaire de la Nouvelle-Zélande. Une caractéristique clé est son lanceur DOM, un bouclier balayé déployable conçu pour les portes. Bien que indestructibles par des balles, les explosifs peuvent le désactiver. La vitesse d'activation du bouclier varie selon qui le déclenche: une seconde pour les attaquants, trois pour les défenseurs - une différence potentiellement révolutionnaire, en particulier pendant les usines de défuseur.

Rauora apporte également le Reaper Mk2, un nouveau pistolet entièrement automatique avec un viseur rouge et un magazine haute capacité, au jeu. Les joueurs peuvent également lui équiper le M249 LMG ou le fusil titulaire 417.

Rauora sera jouable sur les serveurs de test au cours de la semaine à venir, avec une version complète sur les serveurs en direct peu de temps après.
