Après seulement un an sur le marché, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile termine ses opérations. Activision a officiellement annoncé que la version mobile du populaire jeu Battle Royale ne recevra plus de mises à jour saisonnières ou de nouveaux contenus. Depuis le 18 mai, le jeu a été supprimé à la fois de l'App Store et du Google Play Store. Les transactions réelles ont été désactivées et toute personne qui n'a pas téléchargé l'application à la date spécifiée perdra définitivement l'accès.

Cette fermeture brusque marque la fin d'une version mobile de haut niveau qui a cherché à offrir l'expérience complète de Warzone aux utilisateurs mobiles.
