Power Charges: Unleashing Overpowered Builds in Path of Exile 2

Power Charges are a key mechanic in Path of Exile 2, enabling devastating builds. Unlike previous iterations, their functionality has been refined, offering significant strategic depth. While not essential for all builds, mastering Power Charges unlocks immense potential, particularly for builds like the Tempest Flurry Invoker.

What are Power Charges?

Essentially, Power Charges act as multipliers for specific skills or effects. They are passive until consumed by abilities such as Falling Thunder, significantly amplifying their power. Most builds don't require Power Charges, but they are fundamental to certain high-damage strategies. They function similarly to Frenzy and Endurance Charges – inert unless actively utilized by a skill or item effect.
