It's a heart-sinking moment for any gamer when they launch their game, only to find their latest progress hasn't been saved. This can be particularly frustrating with new releases like *R.E.P.O.* where autosaves aren't always guaranteed, and manual saving options might be absent or unclear. Here’s how you can ensure your game saves in *R.E.P.O.*:

The key to saving your game in *R.E.P.O.* is completing the level you're currently on. Unlike some games, *R.E.P.O.* does not offer a manual save feature. If you exit the game or die during a retrieval mission, sending you to the Disposal Arena, your progress will be lost, and you'll need to restart that level. Moreover, upon death in *R.E.P.O.*, your save file is wiped out, and exiting mid-level forces you to begin that location anew.

To successfully save your game, you must reach the end of a level, take your valuables to the Extraction Point, and board the truck. Once inside, hold the message button above your head to signal the AI boss, the Taxman, that you're ready to proceed to the Service Station. At the Service Station, you can restock, prepare, and then use the same button to advance to the next level.
