Pokémon Legends: Z Release Date Unveiled

Pokemon Legends: Z-A: August 2025 Release Date Leak

Rumors suggest Pokemon Legends: Z-A may launch on August 15, 2025, following a leaked listing on Amazon UK in early January 2025. This aligns with The Pokémon Company's previously stated 2025 release window. Official confirmation is anticipated during the Pokémon Day 2025 Pokémon Presents broadcast, expected on February 27th.

Initially unveiled during the February 2024 Pokémon Day celebrations, Pokemon Legends: Z-A is the highly anticipated sequel to 2022's Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Following the exploration-focused gameplay of its predecessor, which prioritized open-world exploration and collection over traditional gym battles and the Pokémon League, details about Pokemon Legends: Z-A have been scarce since its announcement.

The August 15th release date surfaced via a now-removed Amazon UK listing, as reported by content creator Light88. While quickly corrected to a placeholder date, the leak corroborates the previously announced 2025 release timeframe.

February 2025 Confirmation Possible

The actual release date could be officially revealed during the 2025 Pokémon Day event on February 27th, mirroring the game's initial announcement. This date is supported by recent findings from a Pokemon GO dataminer.

Beyond a release date, fans eagerly await a gameplay reveal, also potentially slated for the February 27th Pokémon Presents broadcast.

Initially planned as a Nintendo Switch exclusive, Pokemon Legends: Z-A will also be playable on the upcoming Switch 2, thanks to confirmed backward compatibility. While past mainline Pokémon titles have featured paid DLC, Pokemon Legends: Arceus only received one free post-launch update, "Daybreak."
