As the formation lap draws to a close, you gently press the throttle and make one last sharp turn from left to right, ensuring your tires remain at optimal temperature. You understand that this is crucial for navigating the first corner at top speed, setting you up for a strong start and a chance to overtake the two formula cars ahead, which have already taken their positions on the grid.

It's time to ease off the gas pedal and concentrate on the yellow line marking your starting spot. With a delicate touch on the brake pedal, you maneuver to gain every possible millimeter allowed by the regulations, aligning your front wing precisely with the white line that defines your starting position.

Now, you engage the paddles at the bottom of your steering wheel to disengage the clutch, shifting from second to first gear. Your formula car stands still, ready for action.

The first red light of the traffic signal illuminates. You've been here before; you know the drill. Your right foot gently presses down on the gas pedal.

The second red light comes on, and the RPM needle hits the limiter.

The third red light illuminates. The engine roars loudly as you seek the perfect RPM for a flawless start.
