Application Description

This quiz game features thousands of four-choice multiple-choice questions covering a wide range of subjects, suitable for all ages. It's designed to test general knowledge and can even serve as baccalaureate exam preparation. Currently, it includes extensive question sets based on Romanian high school textbooks (History of Romanians, Philosophy, Economics, and Psychology – each with approximately 1000 questions).

The game boasts a database exceeding 10,000 questions across diverse fields, including: literature, film, art, mythology, music, psychology, sports, history, chemistry, politics, biology, vocabulary, linguistics, grammar, English, antiquity, rebus puzzles, IT/computer science, Bible/religion, anatomy, zoology, capitals, and more. Ninety percent of these questions were created specifically for this game and are unique to it.

Each quiz consists of 21 questions, divided into three levels of seven questions each. Players can utilize lifelines such as "50/50," "ask the audience," or "phone a friend," and skip questions (from the second level onwards). Three bonus chances are provided; incorrect answers result in point deductions varying by difficulty.

Scoring considers time taken, difficulty level, and the number of question sets selected. Bonus points are awarded for completing levels or winning the game. High scores can be submitted to an online leaderboard via the Statistics section.

The Personal Statistics section displays comprehensive data, including total points, average points per quiz, average time per quiz, best scores, recent scores, and leaderboard ranking.

Customizable options include background sounds, various sound effects, and voice announcements (all controllable in the Settings section). Questions, answers, and other elements can be voiced by the device.

The game is available on Android TV, as a web version at www.culturagenerala.ro, and as an iOS app on the App Store. It's fully accessible with screen readers like Talkback or Jieshuo Plus. The web version allows users to contribute question sets. The gameplay is reminiscent of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?"

New question sets have been added: "Romanian Poetry" (270 questions by Mirabela Mischie) and "The Animal World" (over 200 questions by Ghiță Potra). Minor bugs have also been fixed.

This quiz game is fantastic for testing general knowledge! The variety of questions is impressive and it's great for all ages. I appreciate the focus on Romanian high school curriculum, but more international questions would be a nice addition.

Ce jeu de quiz est excellent pour tester ses connaissances générales! La variété des questions est impressionnante et c'est parfait pour tous les âges. J'apprécie l'accent mis sur le programme scolaire roumain, mais des questions internationales seraient un bon ajout.
