The new IRmobile app from Optris seamlessly integrates with Optris IR thermometers (pyrometers) and IR cameras, enabling users to monitor and analyze infrared temperature measurements directly on their Android smartphone or tablet. Compatible with most Android devices running version 12 or higher and equipped with a microUSB or USB-C port supporting USB-OTG, the app boasts intuitive operation; it automatically launches upon connecting an Optris pyrometer or IR camera. A built-in simulator for both pyrometers and cameras allows users to explore app functionalities even without connected hardware. Key features include adjustable temperature units, a zoomable temperature-time diagram, live infrared imaging with automatic hot/cold spot detection, and much more. The IRmobile app supports Optris pyrometers from the Compact, high-performance, and videothermometer series, as well as PI and Xi series IR cameras. It's available for Android 12.0 and higher devices with a compatible USB port. Recommended smartphones for use with IR cameras include the Samsung S10, Galaxy S21, Sony Xperia XA1 Plus G3421, Google Pixel 6 and 7, and Xiaomi Note 8, Note 11, and Mi10T Pro.
