Bring your ideas to life by crafting custom cross-stitch patterns with the Cross Stitch Pattern Creator.

Begin designing by tapping the "Create a Cross Stitch Pattern" button.

The Cross Stitch Pattern Editor will open. Fill the squares with your choice of DMC floss colors.

You can even create and add your own custom colors.

Getting started: Use the Pencil tool to fill squares in your pattern. Use the Eraser to clear filled squares.

Enhance your design with over 80 decorative stamps and borders.

The toolbar buttons, from left to right, are:

DMC Floss Color – Choose the thread color you wish to use.

Save – Save your pattern.

Pencil – Fill squares on your cross-stitch pattern.

Eraser – Remove filled squares and backstitch lines.

Backstitch – First, choose a color from the color button. Then tap Backstitch to draw lines on your pattern.

Backstitch Move – Select and drag an existing backstitch to a new position.

Backstitch Move Stitch End – Select a backstitch; blue handles appear at each end. Drag either handle to adjust the line.

Stamps – Add small decorative motifs (miniature cross-stitch designs) to your pattern.

Borders – Add frames that automatically wrap around your entire design.

Dropper – Pick up a color from your pattern to use more of it.

Bucket – Fill a selected area with the current color.

Bucket+ – Replace one color throughout your pattern with the currently selected color.

Undo – Reverse your last change.

Redo – Restore a change you previously undone.

Selection Box – Mark an area to cut, copy, rotate, or flip.

Cut – First, select an area with the Selection Box. Then tap Cut to remove that part of the pattern.

Copy – First, select an area with the Selection Box. Then tap Copy to duplicate it to the clipboard.

Paste – Place the copied area onto your pattern. Drag the pasted box to position it.

Rotate – Rotate the selected area or the entire pattern.

Flip Right/Left – Flip the selected area or whole pattern horizontally.

Flip Top/Bottom – Flip the selected area or whole pattern vertically.

Zoom In – Enlarge the view of the pattern.

Zoom Out – Reduce the view of the pattern.

Symbols – Display a unique symbol on each color to identify it.

Picture – Select an image from your device to convert into a pattern.

Social Media – Share your pattern via email, text, or other apps.

Resize Bars – Located at the bottom-right corner of the pattern. Drag to adjust the pattern dimensions.

Option Settings – Customize the grid color, switch the fill style from Solid to X's, and hide the row/column counter.

Instruction Page – View the list of DMC colors used and the finished pattern sizes for various Aida cloth counts.

Finished Product Page – Preview how your pattern will look when stitched. You can also change the fabric background color.
