Fortnite's Chapter 6, Season 2 introduces exciting new ways to enhance gameplay. Making a comeback from Chapter 6, Season 1: Hunters, are Boons – powerful abilities with no downsides. This guide details all available Boons and how to acquire them.
Unlike Medallions (which reveal player locations), Boons provide significant advantages. Simply add them to your inventory and utilize their effects. This season brings a fresh set of Boons:
Boon | Effect |
Vulture Boon | Briefly reveals enemy elimination locations on the map. |
Gold Rush Boon | Opening or destroying chests activates Gold Rush. |
Adrenaline Rush Boon | Grants the Slap effect (short-term unlimited energy regeneration) after mantling, hurdling, or wall jumping. |
Gold Ammo Boon | Gain ammo when collecting Bars. |
Greed Boon | Obtain extra Bars from eliminations and containers. |
The Lawless season's Boons offer diverse benefits. The Vulture and Adrenaline Rush Boons are particularly advantageous for combat, while the Greed Boon is crucial for acquiring valuable Bars.
Acquiring Boons:
With the removal of Sprites and Sprite Shrines, Boon acquisition methods have changed. Epic Games provides two alternatives:
Black Markets
Black Markets, a new addition to Chapter 6, Season 2, sell various items, including Boons, for Dill Bits and Gold Bars. Three Black Markets are scattered across the map.
Rare Chests
Rare Chests remain a source of Boons, but their distinctive sound attracts attention.
This covers all Boons in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 2 and their acquisition methods. For further information, explore rumored collaborations for the Lawless season.
Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
