Rompopolo, a Brute Wyvern, first appears in Chapter 2, Mission 2-1: Toward Fervent Fields, within the Oilwell Basin. Defeating it is crucial to progressing your journey to Azuz City. After your first victory, its entry will be added to your Large Monster Field Guide. You can revisit this battle repeatedly in the Oilwell Basin or by undertaking the “Oilwell Basin Blast” Optional Quest.

How to Beat and Capture Rompopolo

Prepare for battle by equipping water-element weapons (obtained from Uth Duna in the Scarlet Forest) and fire-resistant gear (farmed from Uth Duna or Ajarakan). Consider crafting a Fire Charm I or Defense Charm I talisman. A hearty meal will boost your health and stamina.
