Crashlands 2 enthusiasts, rejoice! The much-anticipated Update 1.1 has just hit the scene, and Butterscotch Shenanigans has listened to your pleas. This update packs a punch with new modes, revamped features, and a nod to the beloved elements of the original Crashlands.
What's in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?
First up, say hello to Legend Mode, a thrilling challenge for those who crave a tougher fight. Enemies on Woanope are now faster, pack a harder punch, and boast beefier health bars. Meanwhile, Flux Dabes has become even more fragile, upping the ante for survival. While there aren't specific achievements for conquering Legend Mode, you'll automatically unlock all the achievements from lower difficulty levels as a reward.
On the flip side, Explorer Mode is perfect for those who prefer a more laid-back experience. It dials down the combat intensity, letting you immerse yourself in the story, build your dream base, and enjoy the quirky characters of Crashlands 2 without the constant threat of danger.
The star of the show, however, is the return of The Compendium. Following community feedback, this feature keeps a detailed log of everything Flux discovers, tracking your progress towards collecting all pets, recipes, and items.
Pets Also Got a Bit of an Upgrade
With Update 1.1, pets are no longer just cute companions. They now actively participate in battles, each with a unique ability that you can activate every 20 seconds, adding a strategic layer to your adventures.
Gear crafting has received a boost too, with new random bonus stats on armor, expanding your customization options. A range of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets have been added, giving you even more ways to tackle the challenges of Woanope.
Quality of life improvements are sprinkled throughout the update. You can now build on a wider variety of terrain, customize the location of your home teleporter, and adjust the night's darkness to your preference.
Crashlands 2, which launched on April 10th, is available on the Google Play Store. This patch is a testament to Butterscotch Shenanigans' commitment to responding to player feedback.
