From November 18th, 2024, you will encounter these two monsters appearing with dramatically increased frequency until November 24th. They will be roaming swamp and forest regions, giving you ample opportunities to find them.
What Else Is Happening in Monster Hunter Now During the Rare-Tinted Royalty?
Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos are also part of the festivities! Starting November 18th, look for them in swamp and desert habitats as well as along forest trails. Then, from November 23rd through the 24th, their appearances will become even more common.
Gold Rathian is a formidable sight adorned in shimmering golden scales. When it becomes cloaked in hellfire, its fiery breath and tail swipes grow significantly more dangerous. Equip Thunder-element gear to counter this beast.
Silver Rathalos is a fearsome foe with metallic silver scales. Its hellfire mode similarly amplifies its power, enabling a suite of devastating new attacks. Its weakness is water, so a powerful Water-element weapon is your best bet.
Give yourself a tactical advantage by using the Wide View feature. This tool helps you monitor the monsters' movements closely, allowing you to set up precise ambushes.
Monster Hunter Now is featuring a series of limited-time quests for the Rare-Tinted Royalty event. Defeating a Gold Rathian yields rewards such as Earth Crystals, Gold Rathian Primewebbings, and Silver Rathalos Primetalons.
