FragPunk Best Settings and Crosshair Codes

Authore: AdamUpdate:Mar 15,2025

Many games launch with optimization issues, later patched. *FragPunk*, however, has enjoyed smooth performance since release. While there's always room for improvement, here are the best *FragPunk* settings and crosshair codes to boost your frame rate.

Recommended Videos FragPunk Settings Overview

*FragPunk*'s settings are divided into five tabs. Beyond the Video tab, most settings affect quality of life and accessibility, not performance. However, some can enhance gameplay. We'll highlight those. Others can remain at default or adjusted to your preference.

General

The General tab houses most quality-of-life/preference settings. Experiment to find what suits you best. These are recommended changes, but some preference remains. The General tab also handles crosshair creation (discussed later).

  • Automatic Climbing – On
  • Automatic Sprint – On
  • Camera Shake During Sprint – Off
  • FOV Sprint Scaling – On
  • Flash Eye Guarding – On
  • Keep Player Centered – On
  • Minimap Orientation Rotate – On
  • Performance Metrics – On
  • Ping Visibility – 1
  • Hide Overly Visible Skin Components from Enemies – On

Keyboard/Controller

These tabs allow custom binds. The most notable is sprint. With Automatic Sprint enabled, Shift is free. Binding walk to Shift (common in *VALORANT* and *CS2*) is recommended.

Sensitivity

Entirely personal preference. Experiment or use an online calculator to convert from games like *VALORANT* or *CS2*.

Audio

Set Sound Effects to a comfortable level. Lower Music, Announcer, and Button Volume. Enable Character Voice Simplification to remove unnecessary banter.

Voice Chat is personal preference.

The Video tab offers the biggest performance gains. These settings prioritize performance over visuals. *FragPunk* is competitive; frames matter. High-end PCs might handle higher quality, but for most, these are optimal.
