Here's the official description:
Civilization VII - VR brings the world of Civilization to life as never before. The game unfolds on a Command Table, allowing players to zoom in for intricate details or survey the broader strategic landscape. Engage directly with world leaders, forging alliances or declaring war across the ages.
Play in immersive VR or mixed reality, switching seamlessly between the two. VR transports players to a personalized museum overlooking their civilization, while mixed reality integrates the Command Table into the player's physical space. The Archives, a dedicated museum room, showcases gameplay achievements in both VR and mixed reality. Engage in online multiplayer with up to three other Meta Quest 3/3S players.
The PC and console versions of Civilization VII, currently available via early access, have received mixed player feedback on Steam, citing UI issues, limited map variety, and missing features.
Firaxis has addressed this feedback, promising UI improvements, cooperative multiplayer teams, and expanded map types.
Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick, in an interview with IGN, acknowledged the negative reviews but expressed confidence in the game's long-term appeal to the "legacy Civ audience," describing its initial performance as "very encouraging."
