Title Update 1 is set to launch on April 4, 2025, and will be a free update for all Monster Hunter Wilds players. Alongside the update, a variety of both free and paid DLC options will become available. The update introduces a new social hub for hunters, fresh armor sets, and exciting cosmetic items, adding a new layer to the game's fashion scene. A New Hub For Hunters
---------------------The showcase kicked off with an introduction to the new endgame hub designed for hunting parties, called the Grand Hub. This hub is packed with activities to enjoy, from communal feasts and arm wrestling to listening to the Diva's nightly performances. There's also a fun Barrel Bowling mini-game, where players can earn vouchers and rewards through various in-game activities.
To unlock the Grand Hub, reach Hunter Rank 16 and speak with Tetsuzan in Suja, located in the Peaks of Accord.
Mizutsune Arrives
-----------------Title Update 1 brings the much-anticipated monster, Mizutsune, to Monster Hunter Wilds. Known for its swift tail strikes and powerful water jets, Mizutsune promises challenging battles. Once you reach Hunter Rank 21 or above, visit the Scarlet Forest and speak with Kanya to start the quest. Successful hunts will reward you with materials to craft new gear.
Additional Hunts on the Way
---------------------------A new Event Quest introduces the Arch-tempered Rey Dau, a step above the usual Tempered fights, making it a formidable challenge. Players at Hunter Rank 50 or above can take on this quest and earn new armor upon completion.
Zoh Shia, previously encountered only once in the main storyline, will now be available for repeated battles through new quests. Reach Hunter Rank 50 to access these quests and craft new armor from Zoh Shia.
Arena Quests
------------Speedrunners will find their niche in the new Arena Quests, designed for those looking to compete for the fastest clear times. Both Challenge Quests and Free Challenge Quests will be available, with pendants awarded for participation and achievements. Access these quests through the counter at the new Grand Hub.
Change Alma's Outfit
--------------------Alma, one of the game's most dedicated handlers, is getting a wardrobe update. Players can now customize Alma's appearance through a new menu in camp, with one outfit available for free. Completing a specific side mission will also unlock new glasses for Alma.
More DLC is on the Way
----------------------Alongside Title Update 1, a mix of free and paid DLC will be released. Classic gestures from previous Monster Hunter games will be freely available in the store, while new cosmetic items, including those in the Cosmetic DLC Pack 1, can be purchased or accessed with the Cosmetic DLC Pass or Premium Deluxe Edition. Expect new stickers, additional looks for Alma, and more.
More Event Quests and Seasonal Events
-------------------------------------Further Event Quests and Seasonal Events are planned, with the latter transforming the Grand Hub's appearance and offering unique meals. These events will also feature limited equipment, gestures, and decorations. The first Seasonal Event, the Festival of Accord: Blossomdance, starts on April 23, bringing pink cherry blossoms and new decor to the game. Capcom has also confirmed that most past events and Event Quests will return in the future.
The Roadmap Ahead
-----------------Title Update 1 and its related content will be rolled out over the coming months. The update will launch on April 3 for U.S. players, followed by the Blossomdance event on April 22. The challenging Arch-tempered Rey Dau quest arrives on April 29, with additional features and a Capcom collaboration planned by the end of May.
Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2
-----------------------------------The showcase concluded with a teaser for Title Update 2, expected this summer. While no specific date was announced, a brief image hinted at the potential return of Lagiacrus, the underwater leviathan, ready to cause chaos on the surface.
