What Are Pets?
Pets are loyal creatures that accompany you not only in battle but also during exploration and daily activities. The pet system becomes available once your character reaches level 26, at which point you’ll receive a complimentary starter pet known as the “Assistant Jackelope.” While they may seem cute and gentle at first glance, these companions are formidable battle assets that can significantly increase your overall combat power (CP). Strategically utilizing your pet's abilities to boost damage output or enhance survivability is essential for conquering challenging dungeons and outperforming opponents in PvP arenas.
Evolving Your Pet
One of the most effective ways to strengthen your pet is through evolution—a process that not only changes their appearance but also unlocks new abilities or enhances existing ones. It's highly recommended to evolve your pets to maximize their stats and CP gains.
To initiate evolution, you must obtain a pet’s Heart. When you first acquire a pet, you will also receive a corresponding contract. For instance, obtaining the Shining Crystafox comes with the Shining Crystafox Contract. If you collect another copy of the same contract, it will convert into a Heart—this is the key item needed to trigger your pet’s evolution.
