Jagex has unveiled an exciting roadmap for RuneScape, spanning 2024 and 2025! The latest "RuneScape Ahead" video details a wealth of upcoming content. Let's explore what awaits.
Key Updates and Additions:
The highly anticipated Group Ironman mode arrives later this year, allowing up to five players to embark on a collaborative adventure without external assistance. Autumn brings "The Gate of Elidinis," a challenging new skilling boss encounter within the Sanctum of Rebirth, integrated into an upcoming major story quest.
Multiple story quests are planned, including a winter release revisiting classic storylines and a desert-based finale culminating in a battle against Amascut, the Devourer, in a brand-new end-game boss fight.
Extensive skilling updates are on the horizon, with Woodcutting & Fletching enhancements (new skill tree and weapons) this year, followed by RuneCrafting and Crafting updates in 2025.
Seasonal events return, with "Harvest Hollow" debuting later this year, featuring a new quest, rewarding prizes, and spooky activities. The popular "Christmas Village" event will also make a comeback.
Looking Ahead:
The roadmap also teases a major area expansion slated for late 2025, alongside numerous player-requested features such as new combat achievements, a fourth Necromancy conjure ability, and a fresh Slayer monster.
