Rest and Recuperation in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Sleep is paramount in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, offering a crucial method of health restoration without relying solely on food and potions. This guide details where to find a place to rest your weary head.
Securing a Bed
Early in the game, securing your own bed is vital. Progressing through either the blacksmith (Radovan) or miller (Kreyzl) questline, awarded during the "Wedding Crashers" quest, will grant you access to a bed. Radovan's location in Tachov offers closer proximity to your starting point. Complete his smithing tutorial to unlock the bed in the room adjacent to the forge.
This bed will be marked on your map, and a nearby chest provides convenient storage. Return here whenever you need to heal.
Campsite Alternatives
When immediate access to your bed isn't feasible, numerous campsites scattered throughout the game world provide alternative resting spots. While some may be occupied by bandits requiring prior engagement, others offer undisturbed repose. These campsites are marked on your map, and interacting with the bedrolls allows for sleep. Note that comfort levels are lower than a proper bed, but they suffice in a pinch.
Sleeping in NPCs' beds is a last resort, as getting caught will likely result in a confrontation with guards unless you can successfully de-escalate the situation.
