Sony has unveiled a new game called *Mukti* for PlayStation 5 and PC, developed as part of its Sony India Hero Project. Developed by underDOGS Studio, *Mukti* is a first-person story exploration game set within an Indian museum. The game tackles the critical social issue of human trafficking, aiming to educate and engage players through its narrative and gameplay.

In *Mukti*, players navigate the museum's corridors, uncovering the dark realities of human trafficking through rich storytelling and immersive mechanics. The game seeks to raise awareness, provoke thought, and inspire action by drawing on authentic narratives and historical contexts. Each interaction is designed to foster empathy and encourage dialogue about this pressing global issue.

underDOGS Studio is collaborating closely with PlayStation to optimize the PS5's DualSense controller features, such as haptics and adaptive triggers. These will enhance the player experience, particularly during moments of quiet puzzle-solving.

Sony's Hero Project initiatives span the globe, searching for the next big externally developed hit for PlayStation. These initiatives offer studios development, publishing, marketing, and promotion support. An example of another Hero Project game is *Lost Soul Aside*, developed under the China Hero Project.
