PPPark! – Your Guide to Affordable Parking

PPPark! is a parking search app designed to help Android users find the cheapest metered parking near their destination. No more overpaying for parking!

Addressing Android 11 Launch Issues:

Some users on Android 11 have reported app crashes upon launch. A temporary workaround involves clearing the app's storage. Note: This will erase your parking history, which cannot be recovered. To clear storage:

Open "Settings."
Go to "Apps and Notifications."
Select "PP Park!"
Access "Storage and Cache."
Tap "Erase Storage."

Google is aware of this Android 11 bug, and a fix is anticipated. However, similar issues persist globally. We apologize for the inconvenience.

PPPark! Features:

Smart Pricing: Input your desired parking duration (e.g., "Today, 2 PM to 7 PM"), and PPPark! automatically calculates and displays parking options in ascending price order, factoring in daily maximum rates.
Navigation Integration: Seamlessly navigate to your chosen parking spot using Google Maps, Yahoo! Maps, or NaviCon.
Comprehensive Parking Options: Includes listings for coin parking, reservation-based lots (Akippa, Special P, TOHOGAS – Okazaki City only), and even street parking (Tokyo, Kanagawa, Osaka). Street parking is indicated on the map with light green lines and circles. Remember: exceeding the allotted street parking time results in a violation.
User-Contributed Data: Help improve the app by adding new parking locations, reporting price changes, or noting closed lots. (Note: Android 10 and later versions do not carry over previously submitted data due to system changes.)
Easy Search:
1. Locate your destination on the map.
2. Set your parking arrival and departure times.
3. Tap the magnifying glass icon to initiate your search.
4. Results are displayed on the map, ordered by price.

Important Considerations:

Accuracy: While we strive for accuracy, always verify parking rates, hours, and location details at the parking lot itself.
Permissions: WiFi and Bluetooth permissions are used for precise location services.
