Generate Catch Records for English and Welsh Vessels Under 10m Operating in UK Waters

Utilize this application to create and submit catch records for all English and Welsh under-10-metre (U10m) flagged vessels fishing within UK waters.

All U10m flagged vessels are required to log their catches. This data assists UK fisheries authorities in managing fishing levels sustainably.

Eligibility

Registered vessel owner
Skipper

If you own a registered vessel, expect an invitation email. The timing of this invite varies based on your vessel's size. You have one calendar month from receipt to register and begin using the service.

If you are a skipper, contact the vessel owner to obtain an invitation.

Who Should Not Use This Service

Members of producer organizations who lease quota should continue recording their catch via paper logbooks rather than this online service.

This Service Replaces:

The NEP1 form
The MSAR1 form (note: local Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities may still require additional information depending on your location)
Logbook requirements when leasing fish quota or fishing across two ICES areas (currently IV4/VIId and VIId/VIIe)
