Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 introduces significant quality-of-life improvements for Zombies mode. Key updates include a much-requested co-op pause feature, allowing party members to pause high-round games for strategic planning or breaks. This addresses a long-standing player request.
Further enhancements include AFK Kick Loadout Recovery, enabling players kicked for inactivity to rejoin with their original loadouts, minimizing disruption to gameplay progression. Separate HUD presets for Zombies and Multiplayer modes eliminate the need to constantly readjust settings between game types. Finally, players can now manually track up to 10 Calling Card and Camo Challenges per mode, streamlining challenge completion.
These additions, alongside the new Tomb map, significantly enhance the Zombies experience in Black Ops 6. The improved challenge tracking, combined with the co-op pause and loadout recovery features, directly address player feedback and aim to create a smoother, more enjoyable Zombies experience. Season 2 launches January 28, 2025.
