Crunchyroll brings the rhythm-based roguelike, Crypt of the NecroDancer, to Android! Now available as "Crunchyroll: NecroDancer," this beat-matching adventure originally launched on PC in 2015, and now returns with expanded content for both iOS and Android.
What awaits in the Crypt?
Players take on the role of Cadence, a treasure hunter's daughter, venturing into a rhythmically challenging crypt to find her missing parent. The roguelike nature ensures every playthrough is unique. With 15 playable characters, each boasting distinct styles, you'll move and attack to the beat of Danny Baranowsky's original soundtrack. Failure to maintain rhythm means certain death, as you'll face dancing skeletons, hip-hop dragons, and more.
More Than Just a Port
This mobile release isn't just a simple port. Crunchyroll and Brace Yourself Games have added remixes, new content, and even Danganronpa character skins! Cross-platform multiplayer and mod support are also included. Further exciting news: Hatsune Miku DLC and the Synchrony expansion are planned for later this year.
Crunchyroll subscribers can download Crypt of the NecroDancer now from the Google Play Store. Stay tuned for more gaming news, including the upcoming Star Trek Lower Decks x Doctor Who crossover!
