Finnish game studio Kuuasema unveils Cthulhu Keeper, a darkly humorous strategy game channeling the spirit of H.P. Lovecraft and the classic 1997 title, Dungeon Keeper. Currently in development for PC, the game promises a unique blend of strategy and Lovecraftian horror.
Players will cultivate their own fearsome cult, sowing chaos and terror across the 1920s landscape. Building a subterranean lair, researching forbidden arts, and summoning monstrous entities are key components of gameplay. Expansion involves recruiting devoted cultists, spreading influence through city streets, and achieving various objectives. However, rival cults and the ever-watchful authorities pose a constant threat, necessitating the strategic deployment of traps and spells to safeguard the lair.
