Survival is the Name of the Game

Upon entering your world, your primary objective isn't merely securing your plot; it's about *survival*. The game throws numerous challenges your way, and your goal is to overcome them. Ideally, this involves building a robust defense on your plot. However, if the situation gets dire, you can also run around the map until the immediate danger passes—a surprisingly effective strategy! Each successful survival earns you a "Win" and in-game currency. Accumulating Wins is key to progressing in the game. Keep an eye on on-screen messages and prioritize staying alive!

Death is Part of the Process

Don't fret over dying; it's a common occurrence. The consequences are minimal: you'll respawn immediately, lose your current items, and fail the current wave. However, you can easily repurchase your weapons and items. Your structures remain intact, and a new wave arrives every two minutes, allowing for quick recovery. Essentially, you only lose a few minutes of time—a small price to pay.

Build High, Not Wide

While a perimeter wall might seem logical, it proves ineffective. Monsters easily exploit entry points. A far superior defense is to build a tall staircase leading to a high platform. During attacks, simply retreat to this elevated position. The steep stairs hinder enemy progress, and you can strategically place turrets at the top for maximum defense.

Explore Beyond Your Base

The island offers more than just your plot. Interact with neighbors, sell ores, and complete quests. Many quests require a certain number of Wins to unlock, but some, like the Gingerbread House quest, are immediately available. Completing quests unlocks valuable building components.
