Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Gameplay: A First-Person Perspective Only
Based on trailers and promotional materials, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a first-person experience. This means there is no third-person mode available. The entire game, excluding cutscenes, is played from Henry's perspective.
This design choice is intentional. The developers aimed for immersive RPG gameplay, and the first-person view enhances this immersion, allowing players to fully inhabit Henry's role. While the modding community might eventually create a third-person mod, the base game remains strictly first-person.
Cutscenes and conversations offer glimpses of Henry. The camera will shift between Henry and NPCs during dialogue, and his appearance changes based on dirt levels and equipped gear. However, the world is explored solely from a first-person viewpoint. An official third-person mode is highly improbable.
For those planning to play, expect a fully immersive first-person experience. For more game tips and information, including optimal perk choices and romance options, check out The Escapist.
