Vigilant: Burn & Bloom, a fresh endless survival game, is currently in soft launch on iOS. Players take on the role of the Sentinel, an ecosystem guardian battling hordes of fiery elemental beings.
This isn't your typical good versus evil showdown. As the Sentinel, awakened by a mysterious meteorite, your mission is to maintain ecological balance. This means managing and controlling the fire elementals, destroying them only when they become overwhelming. Between battles, you'll retreat to your underground base (the "Batcave") to enhance your powers.
The game cleverly avoids the usual simplistic elemental conflict. While you'll engage in action-packed combat, using water orbs against the fire elementals, the nuanced approach to managing, rather than solely destroying, the fire beings sets it apart.
