Game Overview
This strategic board game challenges two opponents to locate and destroy each other's hidden fleet through tactical coordinate guessing.
Core Gameplay Mechanics
Players alternate turns calling out grid coordinates on their opponent's concealed ocean map:
A successful hit marks the coordinate with an X and earns the player another turn
Missed shots are recorded with a dot
Victory goes to the first commander to eliminate all enemy vessels
Fleet Composition
Each player positions:
1 Battleship (4 consecutive squares)
2 Cruisers (3 squares each)
3 Destroyers (2 squares each)
4 Submarines (single square vessels)
Game Board Specifications
The naval battlefield consists of:
Dual 10×10 grids per player
Primary grid for fleet positioning
Target grid for tracking shots
Ship Placement Rules
Vessels must maintain minimum distance:
No adjacent placement (including diagonals)
Ships may be positioned horizontally or vertically
