War - A Straightforward Card Game for All Ages

War is that classic childhood card game nearly everyone has played. The rules are incredibly simple: players split the deck evenly, then each turns over the top card from their pile. The player with the higher-ranking card collects both and adds them to the bottom of their stack. If the cards are of equal value, a "war" begins. During a war, each player places two more cards face down, followed by a third card face up. The owner of the higher face-up card wins all the cards played in that round. The goal is to capture every card. Cards are ranked from lowest to highest as follows: 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, J, Q, K, A. There is just one special rule: a six can beat an ace.
