Application Description

The Guardians of the Road initiative has been revitalized with a new application, delivering a more convenient and enhanced user experience.

Become a Road Guard and help save lives!

Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road - the road of all of us" project was created to raise awareness and encourage safer, more careful driving. Since January 1, 2023, the "Safe Path" association has been managing the project.

Any citizen aged 18 or older can download the "Road Guards" app and begin using it to record traffic violations.

Using the app is simple and quick: activate it before you start driving. When you witness a traffic offense, enable the reporting feature either by voice command or by pressing the Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will then begin recording and documenting the incident.

These recordings are sent to a control center staffed by volunteer controllers with extensive traffic safety expertise. After review, a "notice of violation" is sent to the documented individual, including a link to the video evidence. For life-threatening violations, the report is forwarded to the police for further action.
