ArtClash: A Daily Drawing & Sketching App (WIP)

ArtClash isn't Sketchbook, Photoshop, Procreate, or Infinite Painter. It's a unique social drawing app designed to foster daily creative practice. Currently in early access, ArtClash offers a fun, competitive way to improve your drawing, sketching, and cartooning skills.

What ArtClash Offers:

• Creative Challenges: Choose from various topics (ranging in difficulty from single words to five-word phrases), optional constraints (time limits, color palettes, canvas size), create your artwork, and earn points based on correct guesses from other users.
• Free Drawing: Unleash your creativity with free-form drawing and share your masterpieces with the community.
• Image Import & Overpainting: Use imported images as references or paint directly over them.
• Intuitive Tools: Enjoy sketching, painting, and blending tools.
• NSFW Filtering: Control what content you see with an NSFW filter.

Current Limitations (Early Access):

• UI Refinement: The current UI is undergoing significant improvement. A transition to XAML is planned for a more responsive and visually appealing experience.
• Performance Optimization: Large canvases (exceeding 1024x1024) may impact performance on lower-end devices. Optimization efforts are underway.

Future Enhancements:

• Expanded Game Modes: New games, such as "telephone" using drawings, will be added.
• Enhanced Social Features: Expect profile customization (avatars), commenting, friend lists, and following options.
• Improved Tools & Performance: A faster brush engine and a more robust UI are in development. This includes adding a marquee selection tool and transform tool.
• Brush Expansion: Support for custom brushes and community-shared brush textures.
• Advanced Layer System: Future updates will include features like locking transparent pixels and masking.
• Community Feedback System: A dedicated system for feature requests, bug reports, and community voting on future updates.
• Moderation System: Community moderators will help maintain a positive and safe environment.
• Content Submission: Users will be able to submit topics and constraints for consideration.
• Long-Term Vision: The ultimate goal is to incorporate full image editing, animation, scripting, and game/storyboard prototyping capabilities.
