Application Description

Ready to become a true artist?

Have you ever dreamed of becoming a real artist?

Impress your friends by mastering drawing and painting with surprising ease. Unleash your creative potential.

Artist's Eye is a utility designed to assist you in drawing or painting with traditional pens, pencils, paper, or canvas.

Simply select a reference picture (like a photo) and, as you draw, view your artwork through your phone or tablet's camera.

The model image will appear semi-transparent over your live drawing, helping you trace outlines and contours. It works similarly to historical tools like the camera lucida ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camera_lucida ).

For best results, mount your phone on a stable stand to keep it still and free both hands for creating.

This isn't about cheating; it's a modern method for practicing, working, and learning art.

PLEASE WATCH THE HOW-TO VIDEO. Note that users giving low ratings often haven't understood the app's proper use.

Hint: On newer Samsung and LG phones without a dedicated menu button, press and hold the task-switch button to access the menu.
