Gameplay Essentials: Teams aim to reach a set number of points first. Played either individually or in two teams of two, Hâkem declares the trump suit. Each player starts with 13 cards, ranked within each suit as A > K > Q > J > 10 > 9 > 8 > 7 > 6 > 5 > 4 > 3 > 2. Hâkem initiates the first trick, and players must follow suit when possible. Failing that, they may play any card, including trumps. The highest trump card always triumphs; otherwise, the highest card of the suit led wins. The winning team scores 1 point upon securing 7 tricks.
