Impact Damage is primarily found on Heavy Melee weapons and certain Ranged Weapons. While a percentage is displayed alongside the Impact Damage value, this doesn't directly increase your total damage output. Instead, it's non-elemental damage that enhances the power of your standard attacks, accelerating the Abductor's stagger rate. A full stagger meter causes the Abductor to stagger, providing a critical window for significant damage before recovery.

Unlike the visible health bar, the stagger meter is hidden. Staggering can occur at any point once the rate surpasses a threshold. This presents both advantages and disadvantages. Offline play allows for charged attacks and maximized damage. However, in online play, staggering might hinder teammates' attacks.
