As showcased in a compelling comparison teaser trailer, the Switch 2 version significantly improves upon the original by allowing players to move seamlessly between different areas, such as in and out of Hogsmeade, without the interruption of loading screens.

The addition of mouse controls has sparked curiosity. While developer Warner Bros. has yet to provide detailed information, there's speculation that these controls might enhance spell-casting mechanics.Similar to other games on the original Switch, players who own Hogwarts Legacy on the OG system can upgrade to this enhanced version for just $10.
Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, action-packed, open-world RPG set in the wizarding world of the 1800s. Players start as a fifth-year student, exploring both new and familiar locations, encountering magical beasts, brewing potions, mastering spells, upgrading talents, and customizing their character to become the ultimate witch or wizard. The game is set to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 on the same day as the console's release, June 5.
