Enter the Gungeon, the acclaimed 2016 bullet-hell roguelike, is launching an Android test in China! A free demo is available on TapTap from June 28th to July 8th, offering a sneak peek into the Gungeon's chaotic depths.
This mobile version retains the core roguelike experience: unique runs, a diverse cast of quirky heroes, and challenging chambers filled with enemies. The controls and interface have been redesigned for intuitive touchscreen gameplay, enabling smooth dodging and rapid-fire action. Excitingly, a two-player online co-op mode lets you team up with a friend to conquer the Gungeon together.
The demo features the first two floors, introducing a selection of bizarre enemies, bullet-hell bosses, and a taste of the game's extensive weapon arsenal. This test period is crucial for gathering player feedback on bugs, glitches, and overall optimization. Developers encourage players to share their input via the TapTap page.
While currently limited to China with a Chinese interface, the global release remains anticipated given the game's popularity. A worldwide launch date is yet to be announced.
