How to Play

Just like real golf, the goal in Play Nine is to achieve the lowest score after 9 holes. Minimize your strokes by forming vertical card pairs and aiming for a Hole-In-One. The player with the fewest points wins!

Each player starts with eight cards, arranged in a grid, along with a draw pile and discard pile in the center. At the beginning, two cards are flipped face up. On each turn, moving clockwise, players draw a card from either the deck or discard pile and can replace one of their cards—face up or face down. If they don’t want the drawn card, they may flip one of their hidden cards instead. The aim is to match cards vertically to reduce your total score. The player with the lowest score after all holes wins the match.
