Indian Rummy is typically played between 2 to 6 players. Each player receives 13 cards. For 2 to 3 players, two standard 52-card decks (totaling 104 cards) plus 4 jokers are used. When playing with 4 to 6 players, three decks (156 cards) and 6 jokers come into play.
