This app showcases the fascinating Stroop Effect, challenging your cognitive processing. It illustrates the neurological conflict between visual color perception (rapidly processed by the optic nerves) and semantic processing (slower, rational thought). The Stroop test directly challenges this brain function.

Neuroscientifically, the speed difference between immediate visual input and conscious thought creates an interesting impulse. Under time pressure, the urge to select the incorrect answer arises, requiring focused concentration and rapid decision-making to overcome.

Gameplay:

Choose between two modes: "Get Meaning, Put Color" (default) or "Get Color, Put Meaning". Each question presents a color word, and you must click the button matching either the word's meaning or its color, depending on the chosen mode. The aim is to maximize correct answers and minimize response time as you progress.
