Cornhole, also known regionally as sack toss, bean bag toss, or bags, is a popular outdoor lawn game across North America. In this fun and competitive game, players or teams take turns tossing fabric bean bags toward a slanted wooden board that features a hole at the far end. The objective is simple: score points by landing bags on the board (1 point) or throwing them through the hole (3 points).

The game is turn-based, with each player throwing four bean bags per round. After all eight bags are thrown (four from each side), the scores are calculated, and the player or team with the higher total wins the round. Points can cancel out—this is known as "cancelation scoring"—so only the leading team scores points each round, up to a maximum of 4 per round.

You can play in various modes, including Quick Play across 5 unique maps, Pass and Play with friends, or Tournament Mode, where you represent your nation in a series of 1v1 matches across 6 progressively challenging games. Choose your country flag and aim to defeat all opponents to become the national champion!

Tips & Tricks for Better Gameplay

• Mind the wind: Always check wind direction and strength. Adjust your throw by aiming opposite to the wind for better accuracy.
• Strategic placement: Use your remaining sacks to knock off opponent bags near the hole or block their scoring zones.
• Disrupt your opponent: Your sacks can displace enemy bags—use this to your advantage!
• Aim wisely: With only 4 sacks per round, every throw counts. Balance risk and precision.
• Most importantly: Have fun and enjoy the game!

How to Play

• Each round consists of 8 total throws—4 per player or team.
• To throw, simply click and drag a bean bag to set power and angle, then release.
• Bags on the board = 1 point. Bags through the hole = 3 points.
• After each round, the player or team with more points scores the difference.
• First to reach 21 points (by exact count or higher at the end of a round) typically wins, depending on house rules.
