Exploring Atuel: A Documentary Game Experience
Atuel immerses players in the stunning, yet climate-change-affected, Atuel River Valley in Argentina. This isn't your typical game; it's an interactive experience where you transform into various animals and elements within the ecosystem, becoming one with the landscape. Soar through the skies as a bird, then flow as the river itself. The game also features real interviews with historians, biologists, geologists, and local residents, providing insightful perspectives on the region's past, present, and climate-shaped future.
Developed in collaboration with The 12.01 Project, an international documentary team, Atuel boasts captivating visuals inspired by the Cuyo desert, creating an almost ethereal atmosphere.
While Android pre-registration is pending, you can find more information on the Steam page or the official website. The mobile release will include seven new languages and full controller support.
In the meantime, check out our coverage of another exciting new game, Grand Mountain Adventure 2.
