There's a brand-new mode to try in Fortnite this week, thanks to another crossover with Epic Games’ beloved Fall Guys beans.
Crown Jam launches this Friday, January 23, bringing three-versus-three arcade action that mixes basketball and football with the signature Fall Guys obstacle chaos. You’ll also spot a dash of Rocket League flair as you sprint through an arena in teams of three, aiming to score.
IGN has unveiled the first gameplay footage of the mode today—watch the fast-paced dodging, dashing, and scoring as players hurl balls through hoops and build Hype to unlock special abilities.
Taking part in the mode unlocks Fortnite rewards like a Jam Track and a pair of Back Blings. Meanwhile, in Fall Guys, the Slam Dunk Costume will be available for free in the in-game shop as part of the celebration.
It’s been a while since Epic Games introduced a brand-new limited-time mode to Fortnite, which already features multiple permanent variations of its battle royale formula. Crown Jam runs until February 9, giving you nearly a month to get yeeting.
Last night, Fortnite teased a beet-iful new crossover with the acclaimed comedy series The Office—more details are coming later this week.
