Get ready, Zombies fans! A brand-new map is coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, courtesy of Treyarch. This fifth addition to the game’s round-based survival mode promises a thrilling new experience.
Black Ops 6 Welcomes a New Zombies Map: Mansion Mayhem
Say Goodbye to Amalgams (Maybe)
The official Call of Duty (X) Twitter and Treyarch Studio’s X account unveiled a sneak peek on March 12, 2025. The image? A dilapidated mansion, scarred by battle, with burning vehicles and ominous smoke billowing from its windows. The caption? A cryptic message from the familiar voice of Edward Richtoften: "Personal log. Edward Richtoften recording…" accompanied by the hashtag #Zombies. Eddie’s return shouldn't surprise anyone familiar with Call of Duty: Cold War, the game this Black Ops 6 remake is based on.
Sharp-eyed fans have identified the location as the Mansion from Liberty Falls, February 1991, as indicated on the teaser image. This timeline seamlessly continues the narrative from Black Ops 6’s previous Zombies map, The Tomb.
But here’s the real kicker: Treyarch’s Instagram confirmed a significant change. Responding to a fan anticipating a horde of Amalgams, the developers simply stated: "Nope." This means players can expect a potentially smoother experience, free from the relentless onslaught of these high-health, hard-hitting Elite enemies. Prepare for a different kind of challenge!
