Destiny Child is returning! Originally launched in 2016, the game transitioned to a "memorial" state in September 2023 before Com2uS, taking over development from ShiftUp, revitalized the franchise.
Will it be the same?
Com2uS has partnered with ShiftUp to create a brand-new Destiny Child experience – an idle RPG. Development is spearheaded by Com2uS subsidiary, Tiki Taka Studio, known for titles like the tactical RPG, Arcana Tactics. This reimagining retains the original's emotional core and distinctive 2D art style, but incorporates fresh gameplay mechanics.
Have you visited the memorial?
Destiny Child's initial release captivated players with its charming characters and real-time combat. Following a nearly seven-year run, the game officially closed. However, ShiftUp released a memorial version allowing players to revisit the game's content.
While not the complete game, the memorial version lets players enjoy the stunning character artwork and reminisce about their favorite Childs. Access requires verification using previous game data, limiting access to players with pre-shutdown accounts. It's a nostalgic trip down memory lane, preserving the Childs and their classes, even without active battles. If you have access, download it from the Google Play Store and enjoy the illustrations before the new game launches.
