Sharp Fangs are crucial for crafting early-game gear sets like Chatacabra and Talioth armor. You can find them early in the game by exploring the Windward Plains. Conveniently, optional quests like "Beware the Chatacabra" or "The Desert is Demanding" will take you there, providing a generous 50-minute time limit. Remember to eat a meal beforehand for a helpful boost!

Once in the Windward Plains, head to Area 8—the largest area, teeming with smaller monsters. While several creatures here might drop Sharp Fangs, one stands out as a reliable source:

Gaijos: Your Primary Sharp Fang Source

Gaijos are small, crocodile-like leviathans often found near or in riverbeds. Their unique snout makes them easy to identify. Use your map's interactive feature to locate the purple diamond markers near water sources—these indicate Gaijo locations. They are relatively weak, making them easy targets even with early-game weapons. Each defeated Gaijo guarantees one Sharp Fang upon carving its carcass.

With several Gaijos typically spawning in Area 8, you can repeatedly farm them by re-entering the Windward Plains via the optional quests. This makes them the most efficient method for obtaining Sharp Fangs.

Talioth: An Additional (But Less Reliable) Source

Talioth, bipedal creatures found in packs in Area 8 (and sometimes Area 13), also have a chance to drop Sharp Fangs. While not guaranteed, hunting them offers a secondary farming method. Conveniently, hunting Talioths also helps complete the "The Desert is Demanding" quest.

This concludes your guide to farming Sharp Fangs in *Monster Hunter Wilds*. Good hunting!
