GTA V Enhanced: A Decade of Stunning Graphics

Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced Edition, Rockstar's next-gen update for PC, has finally arrived. This enhanced version boasts significant graphical improvements and new features, including full DualSense controller support, promising a revitalized experience for PC players.

Key enhancements include ray-traced reflections, redesigned vehicles, and numerous smaller visual refinements. GameV, a popular YouTube channel, recently released a compelling side-by-side comparison video showcasing the graphical evolution over the past decade. The improvements are most striking in low-light conditions—rainy nights and shadowy areas—where ray tracing and global illumination truly shine. Under bright sunlight, however, the differences are less noticeable.

Despite a strong launch, attracting over 187,000 concurrent players on Steam (surpassing the standard edition's recent peak of 184,000), player reception has been mixed. The game currently holds a 56% positive rating on Steam. Many users question the update's value, citing relatively subtle visual enhancements. Further criticism centers on reported issues with DualSense functionality and glitches during character transfers from the original GTA Online. While some players have successfully transferred their characters, others continue to experience persistent bugs.
