Jump King, the notoriously challenging 2D platformer that initially launched on PC in 2019, has now soft-launched on Android! Developed by Nexile and published by UKIYO, this free-to-play title is currently available in select regions, bringing its unique brand of frustratingly fun gameplay to mobile devices.
Jump King's Soft Launch Regions
Currently, you can experience the thrill (and agony) of Jump King on Android in the UK, Canada, the Philippines, and Denmark. A wider global rollout is planned for the future.
Master the Art of the Jump (or Suffer the Consequences)
Jump King isn't your average platformer. The core mechanic is deceptively simple: hold to charge your jump, release to leap. However, precision is paramount. There are no second chances; one wrong move sends you plummeting back to the bottom, potentially erasing hours of painstaking progress in an instant. You begin with 20 hearts, losing one with each fall. Run out, and you'll either need to wait for a daily reward or consider a small in-app purchase to continue your ascent.
Expansions Included!
Conquered the main game? Don't worry, the challenge doesn't end there. This mobile version includes two free expansions: New Babe+ and Ghost of the Babe. New Babe+ offers a familiar yet distinct challenge, testing your mastery of the jump mechanics. Ghost of the Babe, however, takes you on a journey beyond the Philosopher's Forest, prompting you to question the very purpose of your climb. Prepare for more leaps, more falls, more cursing, and more attempts!
If you're in one of the soft-launch regions, download Jump King from the Google Play Store and prepare for an unforgettable (and possibly rage-inducing) experience.
