Marvel's Moon Knight: Future Appearances Confirmed, But No Season 2
While a second season of Moon Knight on Disney+ is off the table, Marvel Studios head Brad Winderbaum assures fans that Oscar Isaac's character will return to the MCU in some capacity. This shift in strategy stems from a change in Marvel Television's approach.
Previously, Marvel Television focused on standalone series to introduce characters before integrating them into larger MCU projects (like Ms. Marvel leading to The Marvels). However, the current approach prioritizes shows designed as self-contained annual releases, more akin to traditional television series.
Winderbaum clarified this change in direction, stating, "Moon Knight happened in a wave of shows that were going to establish characters that would tie-in to the future…moving forward our priorities have shifted. We’re making shows as shows that can exist as annual releases, more like television." He expressed a desire for a Season 2 but confirmed alternative plans are underway for Moon Knight's future appearances.
While Isaac voiced Moon Knight in Marvel's What If…?, his return in live-action remains unannounced.

The MCU's upcoming Disney+ slate includes Daredevil: Born Again (March), Ironheart (June), Eyes of Wakanda (August), Marvel Zombies (October), and Wonder Man (December).
Recently, Marvel Television reportedly halted production on Nova, Strange Academy, and Terror, Inc. However, Winderbaum hinted at potential future projects exploring the reunion of the Defenders (Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist).
